Whether someone tends to think through interaction or prefers space to reflect before responding.
Personality assessment
A practical profile from one 5-minute assessment
Assessment results are easily forgotten when they stop at a type label. Here, 36 short questions produce a Personality profile that explains working preferences in plain English and gives the person something practical to discuss.
An invited person follows their unique link—no login or password is needed to complete the assessment. The page explains the experience; it is not a public free-test route.
When I am starting an unfamiliar piece of work, I usually…
Illustrative question—not a live assessment. There are no right or wrong answers.
What the questions explore
Four dimensions of everyday working preference
Each dimension describes two valid preferences. The combined pattern places the person's result within one of 16 profile types.
Whether someone first notices concrete detail or starts with patterns, connections and possibilities.
Whether someone naturally weighs consistency and logic or starts with people and values.
Whether someone prefers decisions and structure earlier or keeps options open for longer.
What each person receives
A Personality profile they can put to work
The profile gives the person a starting point for understanding how they communicate, decide, respond to pressure and prefer to organise their work.
So when feedback is not landing, a colleague needs more context or two people approach a decision differently, they have useful language for the conversation rather than another label to defend.

From one profile to a team view
Completed profiles can contribute to Team dynamics
Where team permissions allow, a completed profile can join other completed profiles in Team dynamics. That shared view helps a team discuss communication preferences, decision-making styles and how it plans work.
Team dynamics is based on profiles. It is not a live behaviour feed, it does not read private coaching messages and it should be used as a set of hypotheses for real team conversations—not as a diagnosis.
Example team mix
Different preferences, named without judgement
A useful prompt might be: do we need concrete examples, quiet thinking time or a clearer decision recap for this conversation?
What happens after the profile
The assessment is shared. Coaching access is selected.
An Assessment User can revisit their profile through the unique link, but does not receive Bilee or an authenticated coaching account. A Coaching seat adds private, always-on support from Bilee and the logged-in tools available to that person's role.
An Organisation Admin can assign a Coach Seat later when someone's needs change. The person keeps their completed profile.
Use it with judgement
A starting point for better conversations—not a verdict
Useful for
Understanding communication preferences, improving a 1:1, preparing feedback, discussing different decision-making styles and planning how a team will work together.
Not designed for
Medical or clinical diagnosis, mental-health assessment, a performance score, a recruitment decision, a promotion verdict or a prediction of exactly how someone will behave.
Privacy and visibility
The profile can help the team without exposing private coaching
Assessment answers, profile-derived Team dynamics and coaching-derived Organisation Insights have different purposes and visibility.
Individual coaching is 100% confidential. Organisation Insights are anonymised; no individual messages are visible to Organisation Admins or Team Leads.
Confidential means an Organisation Admin or Team Lead cannot read or identify a person’s coaching messages. Organisation Insights only presents anonymised patterns when there is enough coaching activity to protect individuals. See the full data boundaries.
Questions people ask
Before the assessment begins
The organisation sends each invited person their own assessment link. There is no public free-test route on this page.
It is a 36-question, 5-minute assessment. For each question, choose between two statements according to which feels more like you.
Not to complete the assessment. An Assessment User follows their unique link to answer the questions and view their Personality profile. A login is part of Coaching seat access, not assessment-only access.
No. Bilee and authenticated coaching tools require a Coaching seat. Assessment-only access includes the assessment, Personality profile and a permitted contribution to Team dynamics.
No. It is a practical workplace profile and a conversation aid. It is not a medical or clinical diagnosis, a performance score or a verdict about whether someone is suitable for a role.
Give the wider group a profile they can use
Include each person in the 5-minute assessment, then reserve Coaching seats and Bilee for the people who need ongoing support.
