How MyTeamBuilder works

One assessment. Two levels of support.

Assessments are easily forgotten; ongoing coaching is not needed by everyone. One 36-question, 5-minute assessment creates a useful Personality profile and can inform Team dynamics. Selected people receive private, always-on Bilee support through a Coaching seat.

The assessment path

A unique link, the assessment, a Personality profile and a permitted contribution to Team dynamics. No login or Bilee.

The coaching path

The same assessment foundation, plus a login, Bilee and other eligible authenticated coaching tools included with a Coaching seat.

The complete journey

Start with insight. Add coaching when the work demands more.

One 5-minute assessment gives people practical language for how they work. Give selected people private, always-on coaching when a new role, strained relationship or difficult conversation calls for more support.

Choose who needs which support

An Organisation Admin gives selected people Coaching seats and adds others with assessment-only access. The Admin always occupies a Coach Seat; anyone acting as a Team Lead needs one too.

Answer 36 questions

Each person follows their own link and completes the 5-minute assessment. People with assessment-only access do not need a MyTeamBuilder login.

Put the profile to work

Each completed assessment produces a practical Personality profile. Where permissions allow, completed profiles also contribute to Team dynamics.

Add private coaching where it helps

People with a Coaching seat can sign in and ask Bilee, their private AI Coach, for always-on help. Assessment seats do not include Bilee or logged-in coaching tools.

Change access as needs change

The Organisation Admin can assign or remove Coach Seat access later, so support can follow a new role, a difficult period or a development priority.

What every completed assessment produces

A profile the person can use, and insight the team can discuss

The assessment is valuable before any coaching access is added: it gives the person language for their own preferences and gives a permitted team a safer way to discuss difference without turning it into a judgement about intent.

A practical Personality profile

It describes likely communication preferences and working style in language that can help someone prepare feedback, improve a 1:1 or recognise a different approach to decisions.

A contribution to Team dynamics

Where permissions allow, the completed profile can join the team view. Assessment answers do not become Organisation Insights and private coaching messages are never added to Team dynamics.

From profiles to a team conversation

Use Team dynamics to make differences easier to name

Team dynamics brings together completed Personality profiles. It gives a Team Lead and the people around them a shared starting point for discussing how they communicate, decide and work.

It does not read coaching conversations, and it is not a live view of behaviour. Its source is the set of completed profiles that the team is permitted to use.

Before a project starts

Discuss who wants early detail, who explores possibilities and how the team will make decisions.

When communication is strained

Separate a difference in preference from a judgement about intent.

In a team 1:1 rhythm

Help a Team Lead adapt questions and feedback to the person in front of them.

After the team changes

Revisit the mix of working styles when new people join or responsibilities move.

When insight needs ongoing support

Add a Coaching seat for private help from Bilee

A person might need coaching when they take on a team, prepare for repeated difficult conversations or want continuing support with a development priority.

An Organisation Admin changes access when the need changes. Assessment Users cannot upgrade themselves.

The Admin assigns or adds a Coach Seat, which gives the person sign-in and private, always-on support from Bilee. Every Organisation Admin occupies a Coach Seat, and a Team Lead requires one.

Who controls access

The Organisation Admin keeps the access mix current

People do not need to be assigned their long-term access on day one.

Organisation Admin

Chooses access, changes it later and always occupies one Coach Seat.

Team Lead

Requires a Coach Seat to hold the role and use eligible logged-in tools.

Assessment User

Uses the unique assessment/profile link and cannot add or upgrade their own access.

Keep the two organisation views separate

Profiles explain Team dynamics. Coaching can inform anonymised Organisation Insights.

The names sound related, but the views answer different questions and use different sources.

Team dynamics uses completed Personality profiles for a permitted team to support conversations about working styles.

Organisation Insights is separate. When there is enough coaching activity to protect anonymity, it groups mood and topic patterns into organisation-level trends without showing or attributing messages.

Privacy does not depend on seniority

Private coaching stays with the person

An Admin can manage access. They cannot open somebody else's conversation.

Individual coaching is 100% confidential. Organisation Insights are anonymised; no individual messages are visible to Organisation Admins or Team Leads.

Confidential means an Organisation Admin or Team Lead cannot read or identify a person’s coaching messages. Organisation Insights only presents anonymised patterns when there is enough coaching activity to protect individuals. See the full data boundaries.

Customer experience

“The team find the advice and guidance invaluable and we can see some real progress in team collaboration as we have our coach on hand to explain why some things don’t work, but more importantly how to put them right!”
